News for Winter 2009
I received a news that one of the social networks that I had been involved in will have an uncertain future as of Oct 2009 and this network, NET.MESOMOCO.uk is a non-profit mental health online group for people to communicate with others online via cellular, Facebook and their network. As non-profit future at times can be uncertain, I said I will be happy to let this space to open up for all the folks from that network with issues to join in. I will have to post some of our additional Terms of Service and Privacy Terms so that people will feel safe around here. For now, Ning Privacy terms will apply.
Official draft: Currently, as this social networking goes, I can only propose a transfer to my own social network, which is a bit more simpler for me to maintain for myself. I feel bad that I will not be able to keep this social network for its founder. I will only say that I am happy to take over the people from here to my social network and keeping similar integrity as NET.mesomoco.uk. My social network at the beginning was aiming towards the younger crowd, but I am always adaptable to change. I am open to any ideas if I can do them. I noted a campaign from UN: Gap Action Programme (mhGAP)- which aims at scaling up services for mental, neurological and substance use disorders for countries especially with low and middle income. The programme asserts that with proper care, psychosocial assistance and medication, tens of millions could be treated for depression, schizophrenia, and epilepsy, prevented from suicide and begin to lead normal lives– even where resources are scarce.
